Teardrop Shaped Swiss Blue Topaz Facet

Topaz is one of the most misunderstood but wonderful gemstones on the planet. This Swiss Blue Topaz has a great electric blue color and clarity. This is a treated gemstone. 99.9% of the time when you see a deep blue topaz, it has gone through an iradiation treatment to improve it's color. This particular facet is a teardrop cut and approximately 12x8mm. It weighs 4.85cts and would make a lovely pendant or ring (WOW WHAT A RING) for that special person in your life!
