Small Agate Flame Carving

A Brazilian Agate Flame carving with some very nice banding on it! This thing weighs just shy of 8 ounces and stands about 4 inches call and 3 inches wide at the widest point. 

Agate is a banded and fibrous variety of chalcedony which is microcrystalline quartz. This specimen is neither heat treated or dyed and thus natural (aside from being carved and polished of course).
