Petrified Wood Limb Piece With Drusy Quartz

This petrified wood is harvested outside of a flood plain that collected and preserved wood. The petrified wood is an extinct conifer species ( Araucarioxylon arizonicum) and this specimen is roughly 225 million years old! Wow! Petrified wood makes a great conversational piece and statement piece. This is a limb cast. You can see the distinct shape of the limb! Now this petrified wood specimen does have some minor drusy all over it, even on the more silicofoed pieces! This piece is excellent!
