Oval Shaped Peridot Facet

Peridot is a gem variety of the mineral forsterite, which is in the olivine group. While forsterite can be many colors, peridot is delineated by it's forest to lime green color. This piece does have some black inclusions from the basalt lava it formed with. This particular facet is a teardrop cut and approximately 7x5mm. It weighs 1.15cts and would make a lovely pendant or ring for that special person in your life! NOTE: This is a loose facet.
