Elmwood TN Fluorite With Sphalerite

Elmwood-Gordonsville District near Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee, USA

This specimen was mined sometime between 2006 and 2008. Specimens from the Elmwood and Cumberland TN zinc district are few and far between now as, at first, miners were prohibited from taking out specimens after an incident and now it's pretty well mined out as far as I know. Fluorite specimens, especially, from that locality are highly desirable.
