Cactus (Spirit) Quartz

Pale amethyst with some lovely iron oxide inclusions give many of these "spirit" or cactus quartz specimens from South Africa a very lovely color contrast. These are a wonderful example of multiple growth stages with crystals. As these are quartz points that later had tiny quartz points grow on them, giving them a distinct cactus look. Which is why they will always be cactus quartz to me and not the silly "spirit" quartz. That makes no sense. I'm rambling! This specimen would make a lovely addition to any collector's home!
